[MS Outlook 2016][MDaemon v16] Using the public address book

A few of our users are using Outlook with the Outlook Connector for MDaemon but for some reason, public contacts just aren't accessible when composing an email.

 

I've enabled the Public Contacts folder

and as such the user can see the contacts..

But if they try to create a new email and click "To..." to bring up the contact list, they can't access the public list.

 

Honestly I have no idea where to begin looking with this one.. We've skipped Office 2013 completely and moved from 2010 to 2016. Public contacts "just worked" with 2010, but apparently not so much anymore.

Simply with any contact list, right click on the folder "contacts [public]" the select PROPERTIES.

 

Then select the tab and tick the box as shown in the image below/attached
