[android app] Android App - Overnight Notifications

Hi,

 

I regularly wake up and see that the Android App has decided to send me a notification in the middle of the night for threads that I have not subscribed to or sometimes threads that only have the OP posted.

 

Anyone else had this? What logs would help?

Seeing this made me remember, I am getting the same. Seems to have 2 sets of notifications, for 1 threads that I've subscribed to and another odd notification for a thread I don't subscribe to. If it happens tonight I'll let you know own what thread the notification is from..

 

I'm using beta version currently. It's 5.0.121

My issues has been for at least a few weeks.

I'm not subscribed to the thread nor have I read it before.

Linkazoid could you try logging out and back. No one else please do that though so we have other people to test a fix if that does the issue.

I did @ZeroHour. Thought it was strange as I have not subscribed to it. iPhone app.

Could I suggest that those experiencing weirdness uninstall the app and reinstall it (via TestFlight for iOS)

 

I have Android beta on my tablet and iOS beta on my phone . With iOS beta, I have experienced weirdness after a few of the updates that has gone away after a reinstall. It's worth a try.

Nope didn't get that notification @ZeroHour. Saying that I haven't had any notifications on phone or tablet since Friday evening.

I haven't, didn't realise it was possible to subscribe to whole pages rather than individual threads

They are trying to trace the cause, can you tell me the next time you get a notification and I will see if they can trace it.
