Software Creation

Hi all,

 

I have personal recently taken over a swim school and want to look at using sort of an MIS System to manage it.

 

Looking online the software out there is really dated, online only or really expensive.

 

Just basically looking for:

- an integrated calendar, so can see the lesson times and groups.

- Classes

- student list

- parent list

- staff list

- payement records.

 

Was thinking it shouldn't be too difficult to make something for this, i have a little experience in using VB in the past but this hasn't been for years.

What would you guys start with or would you even bother? the previous owner just used excel but he has over complicated everything on it.

Take a look at OpenSIS - stick it on a web server and it should do everything you need.
