Funny enough I have seen this done in jelly as well using almost exactly the same technique (using a needle instead of the drill ).

I don't know why but I love watching these kinds of videos. I ended up spending about 2 hours the other day watching some guys videos on wood turning. I have no interest in ever doing wood turning but watching someone take a block of firewood and in one case a stack of old CD's glued together and doing something creative with it just fascinates me.
