Windows 10 Search Mapped Drives

Apologies if this has been covered before, but is there a way for Windows 10 search to search a mapped drive, such as a users home directory? Love the fact that Windows 10 search is extremely fast, but it would be really useful for teachers to be able to quickly search their My Docs for the files they need...

AFAIK this was removed in Windows 7? Unless someone has found a way, they removed indexing of drives that weren't physically attached.

I thought that might be the case. I remember reading ways to force Windows 7 to see mapped drives as Libraries, might try digging that out...
