We are doing a trial rollout of this software on an ICT suite which when testing under admin level accounts works fine. Under students accounts, the software also works fine, up to the point of wanting to export/encode the video, at which point the software says it can't run the encoding executable. I am not sure exactly which exe the software needs access to and which one we may need to make some security changes to for students, but their own help website is totally useless on this particular issue (basically just rewording the error message without any proposed resolutions)!

I see some have got this software on their network and wondered if anyone has also encounted this issue and how they worked around it?

The file here seems to run from the following location: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Screencast-O-Matic have you any SRP applied that restricts applications?

Ah yes, how utterly silly! So everyone gets a copy of the exe encoder in their appdata which we now need to do a security bypass for, rather than the encoder being part of the program files contents! Thanks for pointing me in the right area though.
