newpersn Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Got a slight problem with my windows 10 users. I've setup a new group policy (with network drives being mapped via user preferences) When a user saves a file on a network drive it saves it as a read only when you reopen it. If there a password attached to the file it won't ask but open as a read only Is there a tick box I'm missing?
newpersn Posted May 23, 2016 Author Posted May 23, 2016 Just noticed, do i need to have "run in logged-on user's security context (user policy option)"?
newpersn Posted May 24, 2016 Author Posted May 24, 2016 ok. as im not rushing around now. When staff are looking at password protected documents on the network drive. Its just opening up as a read only rather than asking for password. This is only effeting users that i have moved over to my Windows 10 GPP. Evertone still on the old login stript works fine?
