BBC Two has ordered No Such Thing As The News, a topical comedy series from the QI team

• It'll feature the stars of the No Such Thing As A Fish podcast

• The 5 episode No Such Thing As The News series will launch on BBC Two on Friday nights this May

...Commissioned by the BBC News department, No Such Thing As The News promises to be "fast, intelligent, hilarious television, completely unlike any other show on air. It's about contemporary events, but it's not 'satire'. It aims to do for the news what QI does for the universe at large: making the apparently dull interesting, the obscure clear and the frightening comprehensible."..

Sounds promising. Look forward to seeing how it pans out.
