New SIMs administrator about to upload from Nova T6! Gulp!!!

Hi everyone, I'm about to take a huge leap forwards...I hope. For the past 6 months I've been working with Nova T6 to develop the necessary skills to produce a timetable for our secondary school. At present, I'm pretty sure Sims is not set up to accept it.

 

We hope to run concurrent timetables (we have a Primary and secondary phase within our school) so the patch has been applied to facilitate this.

 

However, how we use sims at the moment is very unusual. We don't really use it for anything other than storing staff details and registering classes twice a day.

 

I don't think that key stages / strands etc have been set up. I'm hoping to upload my first timetable (the version we are actually following this year) to Sims tomorrow to see how our system copes with it.

 

Any top tips or handy hints I need to know about Sims before I crack on trying to upload the timetable from Nova T6?
