Backup / Server AV Software

Hi All,

 

At the end of next month I have the renewal for both our backup and server AV software and am looking for alternative solutions, at present we have:

 

Backups - Symantec Backup Exec 2014

Anti-Virus - McAfee VirusScan Enterprise.

 

I have heard good reviews with regards to Veeam and ESET AV.

 

Is anyone else using anything else? what do you recommend?

If you can get SCCM on an academic licence (Eg EES) then you can get Security Essentials and Data Protection Manager very cheaply
