CAM Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 "But it is a closed circle of friends - you can't add people just by email address, you have to be friends with them on Facebook or follow one another on Twitter. And you can report content you find inappropriate." They don't understand how a young person's "circle of friends" actually looks like on those services.
haldarulon Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 They don't understand how a young person's "circle of friends" actually looks like on those services. agreed... social media is a popularity contest amongst young people seeing how many people they can add as "friends" I have not let my daughter on to any social media, for various reasons, but since she was very young i have taught her the dangers of it, and i am pleased to say (fortunately for me I am in IT) its just a shame other parents out there dont have the same "attitude/mentality/knowledge" as i do
X-13 Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 ...And I think I'll give it a miss once (if) launched over here: Miitomo: Nintendo launches first smartphone game in Japan - BBC News I've already signed up. I like the idea of the rewards, but I want to see how it works out. Seems like they're doing something similar to Ubisoft's Uplay rewards, but it's full games.
