Fazza Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Over the last few weeks we've noticed that our log on times have become even more slower than normal and I have just spotted this in the Event Viewer: If I'm reading this right then Impero is causing a 30 second delay on our logons?

Hi @Fazza, Have you upgraded to a new version recently? If so, do you have any clients showing in the update queue? It may be the case that the server is playing catch-up with clients not yet updated to the latest version. Once they're all up-to-date then this issue should disappear. If this isn't the case, if you want to email your details across to me at [email protected] I will raise a support ticket on your behalf and the team can look into it further. Thanks, Daniel
Fazza Posted March 17, 2016 Author Posted March 17, 2016 Yes we updated a few weeks ago and we updated all student computers to the latest version in 1 day to ensure that there were no computers on different versions. Impero shows all computers on the same correct version of 5121 which is what we upgraded to. Speaking to different people it seems that they first noticed slower log on times around about the same time we did the upgrade - could be a coincidence but after seeing the above message in the Event Viewer I'm not so sure.

Hi @Fazza, Thanks for checking the status of your clients. I'm not aware of this being a known issue, but as I'm not technical could I ask you to email your details to me at [email protected]? I can then ask the support team to make contact to help diagnose. Thanks, Daniel

Thanks, Daniel Thanks for your quick replies! I've already sent it to your support team - I just thought I'd post it on here to see if anyone else had had the issue and could offer us an explanation/fix to save you guys from having a duplicate call/incident/job as I know you're very busy at the moment.

Hi @Fazza, No problem. I appreciate that! One of the team will be in touch as soon as they can to diagnose/resolve. Kind regards, Daniel
