[MDT] Server 2012 R2 Reference Image

Hi all,

 

A small issue I have come across when attempting to create a Server 2012 R2 reference image is that windows updates, via WSUS, will not install during the task sequence. The WindowsUpdate log reports: windows oobe is still in progress. I have a fully automated process for capturing a Windows 7 enterprise and pro reference image; it installs the OS, installs updates via WSUS and then recaptures the image and that works fine. What am I missing with Server 2012 R2 - any ideas? has anyone come across this before?
