Acer PD523PD DLP not working

Hello to all,

 

I have a Acer PD523PD DLP that is not lighting up at all:

 

-No lights on the control panel

-No response on any of the control panel buttons

-AC/DC unit delivers 350v dc

-Ballast delivers 70v ac

-The interrupt switch on lamp cover is ok

-All connectors are securely connected and aren't looking broken.

 

My guess could be a varistor (FS1) on the ballast board that shows 6.5 Mohms

 

Any idea?

FIXED

 

It was a blown capacitor on the ac/dc board (1500mf, 6.5v). I replaced it with a 1500mf 10v and the projector works as new.
