Mr_Jiminy Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Does anyone know if Microsoft plan to enable this within Office 365 OneDrive? The fact that the classic layout will soon be removed, will prevent users using the File Explore option to add/ remove files en masse. I'm confused by the Microsoft strategy with this one, I still believe SharePoint should have been an optional extra (at cost), and that MS should have used the OneDrive personal version within Office 365. If Google can do, surely Microsoft can too!?!?
Liam Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 this is a little bizarre. I am trying to promote the use in school at present and if im honest its becoming more trouble than its worth.. Ok it works for me here on my home laptop using the app.. but this doesnt apply to the user whos in technology trying to download the photos hes just taken on his phone and uploaded to onedrive. Its bizarre.. i really do not see the reasoning behind this.. are they trying to promote us having the app? Yet, im telling users that they dont need to use outlook because the web version as good.. Its like im contradicting myself. Argh.... frustrating.. Maybe i need a third party utility of something!! Shouldn't need to though hey!
Mr_Jiminy Posted February 25, 2016 Author Posted February 25, 2016 The improved sync client is definitely 'improved', but it's Royal pain to deploy, or at least I thought it was. Not sure why such a simple feature has been left out, when it has been available in Google Apps from the beginning.
