[sims] Marksheets "ALL YEAR GROUPS"

Hi folks,

 

I'm trying to have a marksheets for an entire year group - that all staff have access to

 

I'm wondering if I use ALL YEAR GROUPS then include a group filter, if all staff can see these marksheets?

 

Any other ideas people have?

I've not managed it, marksheets tend to require explicit permissions.

 

What is going on this marksheet for ALL staff to see?

Shame - other than a UDG with everyone as a supervisor I suppose!? I may take it to the support desk...

 

In this particular case (though there are more) I want staff to see all YEAR 11 pupils mock results - particularly HODs, as pupils start making choices for A-Level; and these grades are important for HODs to see when making cases for/against pupils chosing their subject...

For things like that I add the year group - (HoY can see this) and form groups - (Form Tutors can see this.)

 

Now an easy fix for this issue (faster and easier than waiting for a rewrite of SIMS!) is to publish (export to excel) the marksheet to an intranet, shared drive or a system like 4matrix/SISRA etc.

 

Also from looking at the screenshot, I might relabel my columns so that the average teacher can make sense of it.

We tend to export them out to a Shared drive.

 

I've also taken this up with the Support Desk in the past, the only other solution they could give me was to create a custom group/role in System Manager which has the View All permission for Marksheets, but that wouldn't just give you the Mock Results marksheet you want to show them but any and all Marksheets that exist in the system.Not ideal, but it was the only way I could work around the problem that I had.
