Good evening all

Bit of a strange one here. I've done a migration for one of my business clients from 1&1 IMAP email to Office 365.

Now, 4 out of the 5 e-mail addresses I've migrated have done so without an hitch, all the folders viewable both in OWA and in Outlook on the desktop, everything marries up great.

There is one however that some of the sub folders (so Inbox > Clients > Client Name for example) don't show any e-mails in them unless you apply a filter, at which point it brings up all the e-mails in the folder.

I've tried re-syncing the folders, I've tried running the migration again, I've tried changing permissions on the folders and various other bits and pieces (including changing the cache mode to display all e-mails and even disabling the Cache mode), however nothing I seem to try brings back the folders so that when you click on them all the e-mails in the folder show.

Does any one have any idea what might be the issue here as I think I'm running out of ideas.

Thanks

Andy :)

Don't know, but does it matter what filter you apply to show them or is it just any filter?

Once the filter has been applied, if you move the emails to a different folder do you still need the filter applied to view them?

Is it just Outlook that they don't show in or is it OWA as well?

The filter needs to include something that is in an e-mail, or if you type a letter and then delete it, you get a list of e-mails showing up in the folder as you should do when you click into it.

It's just in outlook, you go into OWA and they show up fine.

Not tried moving them between folders to see if that makes any difference, but might be something I suggest to try with some (or pop in myself to give it a go).
