Lync/Skype for Business - The server is temporarily unavailable

Hi all

 

Wonder if anyone can help me with this one because it's got me stumped.

 

I've installed the Skype for Business basic client on my machine and everything is hunky dory, I can sign in as any user and it just works. Any other computer in school doesn't work, all I get is The Server is temporarily unavailable.

 

There shouldn't be anything different about my machine other then I put loads of stuff on and take it off for testing purposes, but I can't can't this problem solved.

 

At first I thought it was smoothwall, but I can't sign in to Skype for Business on another machine, so then I thought it might be local admin rights but that doesn't make any difference either.

 

Anyone got anything else I can try and make it work?

Well after spending a day scrtaching my head, finally worked out it was smoothwall blocking it annoyingly and me not realising I had an exemption in for my IP address which is what made it work.
