ADJ Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Hi, Can anyone advise me on how to copy column data into a grade set column. I have copied the column but the receiving column aspect will not allow pasting of the data. Any ideas would be appreciated. The copied column is a marks integer column but the receiving aspect is a grade set. Is this possible Many thanks
RootsSchImp Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Hi, you can't copy and paste numbers into grades but if you add a formula for data entry and use Marks to Grade that should work. The grade values of your number grades will need to be the same as the number (but assuming theyre mee GCSE grades I assume they are)
ADJ Posted November 12, 2015 Author Posted November 12, 2015 Many thanks, I thought that this was the case.
ICTLady Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 The other option you have is to export your marksheet into Excel, copy and paste to your heart's content and then import it back in. It will work as long as the values in the grade column match values in the relevant grade set.
vikpaw Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 TIP: If you do want to re-import a spreadsheet - ensure that you do a formatted export from SIMS and that you don't fiddle with the hidden columns and rows.
