rMBP - OSX El Capitan Issue - Keyboard/Trackpad Freezing

Hello All,

 

I wondered if anyone has ever come across this before, Finder/OSX seemed to break last night on my Mac.

 

Basically I powered my rMBP up last night and found that the trackpad/keyboard were refusing to input anything. Relaunching Finder did nothing at all.

 

I cleared the SMC/PRAM following instructions found regarding the problem and it basically rebooted and I was then able to enter the password, when getting to the desktop then it locked up on the screen and refused to accept any input at all, I could move the mouse pointer fine using the trackad but that was it, no input at all.

 

I then powered it off and went into the bootcamp partition to find that everything on Windows10 was working as normal and without any problem whatsoever, rebooting back to OSX and same problem, it was accepting entering of key commands fine when booting up nothing when at the prompt to login.

 

Same when I went into Recovery on it then I had to power up my magic mouse to be able to enter any mouse input in OSX based booting, I managed to kick off the restore and its fixed it all now again after an hour working away.

 

I am running El Capitan and wondered if anyones had this issue or knows of a way to overcome it ? it wasn't a case of slow keys being enabled or anything like that either.
