tj2419 Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 We are setting up BYOD using Ruckus and trying to secure it using the ACLs on the Zone Director. We have added L3/L4 ACLs for DHCP, DNS, Gateway, VLE. When we try connect a device now it connects for a second gets an IP address and then disconnects and just keeps doing this. I saw we might need to set some L2 ACLs but i cannot see how you do this on the Zone Director. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated. Cheers
tj2419 Posted October 23, 2015 Author Posted October 23, 2015 Bump. Really want to try get this sorted today. Thanks
Haptic Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Can I ask which devices are you trying to connect? Does it happen on other, different devices also? Chris
rrrrr Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 I struggled with ruckus acls for ages. Even when i applied a completely blank acl with all set to allow it was still causing issues. I ended moving the acls to the core switch for the byod vlan and all worked 1st time, and just as secure
tj2419 Posted October 23, 2015 Author Posted October 23, 2015 Hi we have been trying on an iOS and android device today. If I could get it set up all on the ruckus controller that would be our preferred but may have to drop it on the core.
