ass17 Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Apologies if wrong forum but... The Counter Terrorism and Security Act 2015 was published on 12th March 2015. Section 26 of the Act places a duty on schools in England (and Wales) to prevent people being drawn into terrorism. This duty applies to all schools, whether publicly-funded or independent, and organisations covered by the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. How you you documented this in your IT departmental handbook? Dont fancy getting caught out when the school inspectors come calling :-) Much appreciated!!
Steve21 Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 "Prevent" as they like to call it. We've had Staff training days, Had new policies put in place, website info, got brochures on Radicalism/things to spot for Parents etc etc Lots if I'm honest Steve
ass17 Posted October 20, 2015 Author Posted October 20, 2015 Wow that's a lot! Anything specific in terms of ICT documentation purposes?
