outlook 2007 freezes at opening .pst file

Good morning,

 

 

I visited some communities and forums with my problem.

 

 

But nowhere I got proper resolution.

 

 

I have huge .pst file over 7GB. And my MS Outlook freezes at opening it. Once my PC was shut down when Outlook was running.

 

 

After I cant restore my .pst, even third party solution can restore it to 60 percent.

 

 

Please, someone, help me...

I would suggest creating a new PST file and copy information into it until you reach 2GB and then create a new one. Do this until all mails are moved. Even then you might want to try and compact the file.
