m25man Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 I used this guide, http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/85813-windows-7-universal-installation-disc-create.html To create a single iso that I keep on my SSD Zalman caddie. So far it's been the best method so far and seems to activate with all of the OEM keys I've encountered. I used an Win7 OEM Pro iso as my source edited the OEM files and saved the edited ISO. Now the image stops and asks what version you want to install and seems to work every time.

leachim Posted September 27, 2015 Author Posted September 27, 2015 OK We downloaded it - created a DVD Ran it as an upgrade - no probs with compatibility - went all the way through with rebooting etc Then "This version of Windows could not be installed" And reverted back to the original Well..................
leachim Posted September 27, 2015 Author Posted September 27, 2015 Yep Mainly because it was upgraded to Wins 10 - had problems, then reverted back to Wins 7 Since then the LAN network connection has not worked no matter what I have tried - driver - netsh commands - tweaking windows repair Its an Acer Z5761
FN-GM Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 You will need to do a clean install to go back from Windows 10 to 7. Boot from the disc and format the drive.
leachim Posted September 27, 2015 Author Posted September 27, 2015 Don't want to do that - settings etc Wins 7 works apart from LAN network
FN-GM Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 If you want to downgrade that is your only option.
