Prometheus_3 Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Hello, I have been performing server maintenance on our servers this week while that holidays are on. I ran an SFC /scannow and DISM /Online /CLeanup-Image /RestoreHealth on our Windows Servers to identify and damaged system files. A few of our Windows 2012 Standard x64 servers show errors after running SFC /scannow. I have run it a few times and the following error appears every time in the logs: Hashes for file member \??\C:\Windows\SysWOW64\api-ms-win-eventing-provider-l1-1-0.dll do not match actual file [l:78{39}]"api-ms-win-eventing-provider-l1-1-0.dll" : Does anyone have ideas how I can fix this?
Gaz Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Do you have a server with a good copy of that file? You could try copying a good file to that dir, but backup the original first by giving it a different file extension like .backup
