CyberNerd Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Yes we use it for BYOD to block/restrict updates to microsoft and apple and Mozilla. We found that (especially) microsoft updates used too much bandwidth and we restricted downloads to 5mb/s. Someone did mention using a software update server for this; I'd be interested in knowing if it is possible to configure for BYOD. 1
