tj2419 Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Hi We have just switched broadband provider and our DNS records are being updated. Whilst this happens we cannot access out VLE (school.domain.sch.uk). Does anyone know how to configure IIS to allow access in school whilst it gets transferred? It is moodle that we use. Have tried removing the site url from the bindings and changing it to local host and then changing it in the moodle.config but I get a security / permissions error when I try to hit it. Thanks
Steve21 Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Any reason you can't just use an internal CNAME under your external domain name? Like we have server.myschool.SCH.UK as our internal one, then http://www.myschool.wilts.sch.uk as external and an internal record so it gets redirected internally without touching net Steve

Sorry I'm a buy new to this. Cheers
