Flash Player - Camera and Microphone settings by site - centrally managed

We have just bought Units Of Sound and will be using it in September. Their site requires machines to have access to Microphones configured by flash. They state in their "how to" guide that the mms.cfg file located at C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash needs to have the line AVHardwareEnabledDomain=online.unitsofsound.com added to the config file.

 

I've added this line to mms.cfg however users still need to go to the flash settings on the site (to get to this they would click on the cog in the bottom right of the screen), see the Enabled tick box isn't ticked, click on Open Flash Settings and the under the privacy tab of Flash settings, click on Allow and tick Remember.

 

I was wondering and ive searched the net, how on earth we populate the Camera and Microphone Settings by Site setting in Control Panel > Flash Player > Camera and Mic tab.

 

I've tried to look for registry hacks and searched through the registry but cannot find anything so was hoping someone on here might be able to help.

Did you also edit the mms.cfg in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash since the mms.cfg in the System32 folder would only be read by the 64-bit Flash Player plugin, not the 32-bit.

The machines we are using it on are only 32bit anyway.

which can be run at the logon screen if anyone wants to use it but I would be interested in how to add URLs to Flash control panel rather than asking students to do it or getting impero to do if as there will be schools who don't have impero.

might be able to use appdeploy repackager to find out what files are being changed?

I think those settings are buried on the users profile. Within appdata, flash creates a file or folder for each domain. AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys

 

Set the settings on 1 pc take the settings.sol and use ggp to place it in the same location for all users.
