Old apps very small, DPI scaling options?

Hi,

 

We have noticed that apps like camtasia studio 8 and Adobe Photoshop cs5.5 are really small on a dell laptop that has a 4k screen size.

 

I'm have current dpi scaling set to 250%

 

Even if I lower the screen size to 1280, photo shop still look ridiculously small!

 

Anyone solved this issue? Apart from buying newer software.....

FWIW, Photoshop CC 2015 has several settings for increasing the size of the text and UI.

Perfect thanks, just got to create manifests for twenty programs[emoji37], what is worse is that BBC Basic for Windows works perfect!
