Portable Steam machine!

Just got back from Gamescom

Saw the portable Steam machine! although...it was a dummy version of it,

although I did see some videos of it in action!

 

The SteamOS device will arrive in Q4 2016, in time for the holidays.

 

It'll cost $299 (€299 in Europe) for pre-orders starting November 10th of this year, and will likely see a price increase by the time the hardware hits official release.

 

The firm states Smach Zero will be "the first handheld console to play Steam games on the go," and can play "more than 1,000 games" from Steam's library on day one.

 

Here are the confirmed hardware specs:
