Am I the only one who is have problems finding "lenove search by model" page.?

In the old days ( last week) when you were looking for driver for a specific model you could just search for "5062w14" and drivers for that specific model would turn up.

On there new webpage that feature is gone, or at least totally hidden away.

They only have the normal search, which is worth diddly squat..!!!

So if anybody has found the advance search option, so we can search by model number again please post a link.

Thank you :)

It still works but it's generally by the name, not the individual code. Your example being the m75e?

Desktops and all in ones :: ThinkCentre M Series desktops :: ThinkCentre M75e - Lenovo Support (GB)

yes, but the problem with that is there is several model of e.g m75e So I usually do a "wmic computersystem get model" on the specific computer to get the exact model, to make sure the drivers are the correct ones.

I had problems with drivers and MDT when i only search for e.g m75e, and I change my search to the specific model Like "5062w14" I got the correct drivers and my problems ended.

But it seems like Lenovo removed the advanced search on there new website.

It's the same drivers for the models, as the model is the m75e, it's only a different type code (About 30~ different ones) if that makes sense? :o

It might have been the original search had different versions of a driver on.

This is the 5062 type:

https://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/products/desktops-and-all-in-ones/thinkcentre-m-series-desktops/thinkcentre-m75e/documents/PD004757?tabName=ProductParts

If you click on the driver options it'll go back to the generic page

I would just like to search on the type code, like we could in the old days.

Its really frustrating to get the type code from a "wmic computersystem get model" so you know the exact model, type, so you could get the exact driver for that particular model, but then going to Lenovo website you can't use that info for anything.

cause they have remove that particular search option....

Sorry but I'm really p*ss of about this.

I had loads of driver problems (NIC) with lenovo driver and mdt, cause I only seach for driver for e.g M75e, and not m75e and "type code".

As soon as I change my driver search string to the type code instead and got the correct drivers everything worked.

And dell and hp and Acer. It really annoys me that their website asks for a serial number and then returns 5 types of touch pad, 8 nic drivers....
