cornewool Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Hi, Can anyone assist me with how to join computer from 2 different subnets... I have two networks, the main is wired LAN and the other wireless, all on 2 different subnets. The wireless is doing DHCP and all created on Cyberoam. Now the challenge is I want users connected to the wireless network to be join to the Active Directory and access. On the server, I have connected first the wired LAN network, and also added the wireless Network on the other port. How do i configure the server to accepts request from both networks, Thank you
Roberto Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Are you saying that you've dual homed one of your domain controllers and you want clients connected to LANs on both network cards to access AD? Don't do that. Dual-homing a domain controller is never a good idea. Connect both your networks to a 'core' switch, connect the server to that switch and ensure that the switch can route traffic between them. This will be a much more robust solution, will be easier to support in the future and won't give you massive problems the day you need to add a second server (assuming you only have one right now). 2
