ruckus APs not reconnecting after DHCP expires

Had an issue this morning where 33% of our APs (7363 & 7982) leases expired but would not collect an new lease. Nothing has changed on the network side, nothing on ruckus side.

 

All 33% went down at the same time and are all located in different buildings connected to different switches.

 

If I plug a windows laptop in it gets an IP straight away. If I change the DHCP server from windows to smoothwall then still no IP.

 

I wiresharked a poet and it was trying to get IP via dhcp constantly.

 

I also created s flat network using a drafted router and plugged a few APs in and they get an IP, so the APs are not faulty.

 

So this all points to the network but why are 67% ok? Nothing makes sense so if you can offer any help please do thanks [emoji106]🏻
