having walked the stairs at Russell Square by mistake on a friends stag weekend, ignoring the warning "lots of stairs" sign, the diagram is slightly wrong with the amount of stairs shown (it was like climbing a vertical mile)

Did something similar at Covent Garden. I swear I had a near death experience halfway up those stairs...

I did the same, never again. Going down is no problem, but going up, jesus...even Rocky would struggle!
