Dear Forum Readers

This is the first time ever having to port on a forum, so please bare with me...

I am installing WSUS on Win Serv 2008 R2, also the first time im doing that, I have followed the steps stated in the KB article https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd939916(v=ws.10).aspx and rechecked after installation that all is correct.

In the company we have a few Win Vista, alot of Win 7, a few Win 8 and 3 Win Serv 2008 R2 OS'. From the WSUS console i can see that most of the PC's are attaching and requesting updates as you can see in the below screen grab:

The first issue i have is that all the PC's, barring for some that just joined the company, show 99% complete installation. I think this might have to do with the next image:

As you can see none of the updates show 100% installed? is this related?

I checked the windowsupdate.log file on a few workstations, i can see that they attach correctly, but also nowhere can i see that it has pending updates, though in the WSUS console i see the below:

Clearly you can see that this is a new installation and i am fairly sure i am doing something wrong

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
