AJWhite1970 Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Hi I've been evaluating AdBlock Plus and have decided to roll it out to 800 PC's in the school. Preferably I'd like to roll it out using PDQ Deploy (our tool of choice) but my google-fu can't find a way to script the install. Is there a way to do this (for AdBlock specifically but any extension of choice in future)? Cheers Andrew
X-13 Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Why not use the ADMX template and force install through GPO? 1
RabbieBurns Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Have you looked at Ad Muncher instead? Its now free. https://www.admuncher.com/ This doesnt answer your question about deploying chrome browser extensions and it annoys me when people answer my posts with an alternative rather than an answer so I do apologise for that
mjk Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 You can deploy apps to chrome via the management console, it requires users to login to the browser - but works at home too so is useful for deploying school specific extensions.
