SMART UF-75 Mirror

Possible long shot here but is anyone replacing any SMART UF-75 setups between now and September and wouldn't mind parting with the convex mirror? We have one where the reflective surface on the convex mirror has come off in places, leaving the projected image unreadable. I have been told by several resellers that the mirror is part of the projection unit and the only way to get a new one is to buy a new UF-75 projector and boom arm! With our current absence of funds we simply can't afford a replacement.

I'm in the exact same boat. A student put tape on the mirror and it took the film off. Projector is under warranty, but SMART won't cover it. Mendtronix said the part is connected to the optical engine which is about $1,200 + $240 labor + s&h. I hate Mendtronix.. awful company. Will be looking into a short throw Epson.
