Xibo - Windows Client Issues

I've recently installed Xibo CMS and the client for android and have had no issues with it so far.

Yet when using the client for windows my layouts do not function properly on it, for example, scrolling text will not appear on a windows client,

nor will rotating images from a URL. Has anyone else experienced these sort of issues? Am i missing something really obvious?

Sorry, no help but I have 4 windows clients that work with scrolling text. Not sure what you are using when you say rotating images from a URL. I have a Flickr feed working that uses RSS, but I am looking at changing this and coding a custom job as the RSS solution only shows 20 pictures at a time, so is a bit repetitive.

We are using a rotate script that randomly shows a different image every 10 seconds that is stored in a folder on the server, this works fine on Android clients, but the image remains static on a Windows client.
