MSTSC - RDP Quesion

Hi All,

 

Any way of graying out the computer and User name fields so they cannot be altered?

You can force it to always connect to the same computer by typing the computer name in the box then doing a "Save As" in the bottom box and saving the custom .rdp file to your desktop.

 

This does however allow the user to change the account it could logon with.

A user can still change it.

 

Its for end user to have home on home PC's when they need remote access but I dont want them to change any of the details.

Create a shortcut? mstsc /v computername etc....???

Can't set the RD gateway setting then with the shortcut

If it's on their home pc, what stops then simply launching another rdp session and connection to whatever they like?
