I know Edugeek uses AWS for its sites/associated services and this thread is also addressed to anyone who uses AWS. How do you prevent/mitigate against the possibility of getting a huge bill for bandwidth say something went rogue and started either pushing out traffic or someone constantly downloading from your services?

Its the one thing that has put me off AWS/IAAS given that I've had the latter of the above examples happen previously, thankfully I was with a supplier which had unmetered egress.
