[sims] NovaT6 Error - sgdUnits TDrawCellData

Good Afternoon,

 

Bit of a random one, but recently swapped a users computer out and they're saying since that NovaT6 is crashing more. Having a look at the errors it seems to be a Nova issue rather than computer issue and just wondered if anyone knew of this error, or is there any fixes that might have made it more stable before? (Wondering if it's just luck this is when its crashing)

We had a similar issue yesterday, but sgdClash instead. Our sims support people found this on support net:

 

‘In most instances, the error can be avoided by not having the Year/Band timetable open in the background, or on another monitor (dual monitors), when making changes to the curriculum and timetable. i.e. if Timetable | New | Year/Band, or Timetable | Recent | Year/Band has been opened, then please close it before proceeding to edit any data.

 

Please be aware that Nova-T6 creates automatic backups which user may wish to recover if an error causes Nova-T6 to crash without saving.

 

Some sgd errors were fixed in the version of Nova-T6 in the Autumn 2012 release of SIMS .net.’
