Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 not booting, any ideas?

Hi,

 

I have been working with a school who appear to have one rouge Galaxy tablet. Its a GT-N8010 16gb.

When you switch it on, the boot screen shows a black screen with: Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 across the front.

 

...that's it. This screen does not change and if I turn it off and back on again, it just goes back to this screen.

 

Has anyone got any experience on this? I have only ever used iPads, so not too sure if this means it's had it or not.
