Office 365 exchange mirgration

Hi

 

we have a local exchange server on site and we are looking at move all accounts to office 365. Our staff accounts have online archives setup within Exchange. my question is what happens to the online archive once we move the staff account on to 365. does it delete the contains of the archive oor move all the contains back within the inbox of the mailbox?
