I know. It's annoying. Unfortunately, I think it's "working as designed" since a change earlier this week :(

 

Fortunately, I use the app more than the desktop version and that's fine still.

i use the app at home, but at work, when I've been asked to research something, and edugeek is my first port of call, it's easier to use the desktop version, and I now need to click on new posts, wait 5 seconds (else I get the "too many searches" error), then click today's posts - if that is as designed, I'm afraid it's a bad design.

Right a quick question, are you talking about threads that you have just replied too disappearing or are they never listed after people post?

 

I have reduced the time limit to 2 seconds, our search was being bombed by a bot at one point so I increased it slightly until I got it blocked.

I've just posted to two threads this morning, neither are now showing under "What's New" but both are visible under "Today's posts" if that's any help

Basically when you post a new thread or reply to a thread you have effectively read that post/thread which is why it should not appear until someone else replies etc.
