Dave_O Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 What are people using for media streaming? Have got a W2012 R2 media streaming server set up but just wondered if there was anything out there that's quick and easy to use.

bossman Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 For £3k per annum I don't think that is bad when you think of some of the ridiculous pieces of software that teachers rant on about and get without fully understanding it! And you don't need added local storage, our 2008R2 media server has half a terabyte of storage already used and they require more plus everything has to be in WMV format. Have looked into open source models but MediaCore does it all in different formats and the storage is plentiful. We just don't have any money to implement.
