LMS123 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I've noticed a number of part-taken registers over the last few months and I have no idea how it can happen. When you take a register in Lesson Monitor, it automatically inputs N for any blank marks, so how can I find lots of registers with three or four students missing marks? Assuming we rule out a random mark inputter using the edit marks, year view.
MattMitchell Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Could be data fails to save? Interesting point, I've seen this too. 1
Kyle Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Speak to the person responsible for your timetable changes. I am thinking they are making changes to class sets during the day or even if after last lesson of the day and your attendance officer has not had chance to check on registers. Used to happen here a lot until we found out our timetabler was tweaking as and when she wanted! Sent from my iPad using EduGeek 2
MattMitchell Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Good point @Kyle - I've done that very thing myself in the past. It's a good way of learning always to change the timetable on a future date!
LMS123 Posted January 26, 2015 Author Posted January 26, 2015 That's probably cracked it, along with the occasional Edit Marks tinker. Thanks all.
