Long story associated with this: it all started last summer when we cleared out the store, and threw a whole load of cds away, now i am trying to move our vle server to windows 2003, and class server needs reinstalling but the disk was thrown out last summer :x , anyone have a copy of the disk, or would be willing to upload it (i can give ftp details if you need them)

no, it was purchased through an open license which is perpetual, but was completely managed by the company who installed it which shut down years ago.

If you have any form of volume license at all (e.g. for office on your desktops) you should be able to download pretty much all current microsoft software via the volume licensing site.

Obviously check the T&Cs to be sure that aren't any licensing issues with getting it that way, but if it's just a question of getting the installation files I don't see why you can't.

If you have no volume licenses, i reckon you'd have to call microsoft and then maybe fax them the invoice you received.

You should talk to your LEA then, the Microsoft download licensing site is indispensable these days for any Network admin :) I use it daily!

All you need is a Microsoft passport and your Microsoft agreement number that is printed on any of your licenses and you can gain access to all their products via instant download.

I checked our download site and class server is not available as far as I can see, maybe because its a discontinued product.
