free780 Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 (edited) Running the latest version of the app which 3.12.93 on lollipop 5.01 nexus 5. Every so often the whole or part of the screen appears garbled similar to when HDMI can't sync with a TV. Edited January 26, 2015 by ZeroHour 1
ZeroHour Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Thanks for reporting, has this just started happening?
featured_spectre Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 and on my Xperia Z1 Ultra and Z3. Not quite as pronounced on Z3 but the adverts have certainly made a mess of things.
ZeroHour Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 (edited) Screenshots would help if possible (volume down and power button) I cant recreate it here on my Nexus 7 lollipop. Just to double check, does clearing cache then rebooting the phone make a difference? Edited January 15, 2015 by ZeroHour
Arthur Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Screenshots would help if possible Here's one I took earlier. 1
featured_spectre Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 (edited) Mine is practically identical, just a bigger screen for the Z1 ultra. As for Z3 the adverts issue seems to have resolved itself. Edited January 15, 2015 by featured_spectre
newpersn Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Seems fine on the Note 3, Although i dont like the adverts
ZeroHour Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 (edited) Although i dont like the adverts It was my first attempt we wont be using any 3rd party ad's I think if/when we do show ad's as they are all naf, I just thought one promoting EduGeek might have been better received but then my design skills are hopeless. EDIT: I have paused ad's on Android, it will take about an hour to roll out the change but after that please restart your app fully and see if you get the problem again. Arthur Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 How has the app been the last 2 days? Much better now. No garbled screens at all. 1
ZeroHour Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Much better now. No garbled screens at all. Re-enabling the ad banner now to see if thats the cause, should be live in the next hour.
Arthur Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) The ad banner has appeared after restarting the app. Still no garbled screens. Edited January 18, 2015 by Arthur 1
ZeroHour Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Closing this for now, let me know if the problem reoccurs.
