So obviously you need to be connect to the Internet to enrol the Chromebooks.

And you can configure Wifi setting in the GAFE Device Management policies to configure the device as you please.

So what do people do. Do you use a temporary Wifi SSID for enrolling and then allow the Chromebook to pull the correct Wifi from the policies?

I was thinking of setting up a temporary network with no password just to enrol 200 devices and then delete it from the APs. Assuming I have the correct Wifi SSID/WPA2 in GAFE device management settings I am assuming the Chromebooks will not stop working?

We have several USB to Ethernet adaptors. Soon as they are enrolled they pick up the wifi, unplug and onto the next one.

Are these Chromebook specific or any old USB to Ethernet will work?

We just bought a handful of cheap ones on ebay. We have a few different types - nothing special and they have all works on all models of chromebooks we have tried so far (Samsungs, Dells and Acers mainly).
