Plugins/Common apps not needed for Windows 8/8.1

Curious, because I'll be completely honest and say that I've ignored Windows 8.1 for the most part rightly or wrongly, whether there are any other plugins/common apps that are no longer needed to be deployed like Adobe Flash Player for example because they are handled in a different way?

 

We're going to be testing a Linx tablet with Windows 8.1 Pro, so if I can through them into an existing OU with just some minor tweaks to some GPO's to apply filtering so things aren't deployed that won't work/aren't needed, it'll make me much happier.

 

If not, I'll just through it in anyway and see what breaks/doesn't work.
